Summary Can run hot and slow down during long transfers without a heatsink. Despite the name, it lacks the M470's DRAM cache, and MSI lists two different controllers for it, so parts can vary between batches. Also sold as HS and PLAY versions with heatsinks, and the PLAY fits the PS5. DRAM-less, unlike the M571 DLP. Built to protect data still in its cache during a power cut, but ships without a heatsink, so it may need one.
