The Ryzen 9 9950X3D is in the most lists: 45 of 134. The Ryzen 7 9850X3D and 9800X3D had the highest average frame rates at 1080p.

For the highest frame rates, yes. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D averaged 17% higher frame rates than the 9700X at 1080p, and 7% higher at 4K. Both have 8 Zen 5 cores; the 9800X3D adds 3D V-Cache. In the US, the 9800X3D is $444 and the 9700X is $284.99.

Is the Ryzen 9 9950X3D faster than the 9800X3D with an RTX 5090?

Not in games: it averaged 96.1% against 100.4% at 1080p, and 97.1% against 99.5% at 4K. Its 16 cores score 96.2 in Tom's Hardware's multi-threaded test, against 54.7 for the 9800X3D. In the US, the 9950X3D is $624.

Is the Ryzen 7 7800X3D enough for an RTX 5090?
