Under 1 kg with OLED
Only the non-touch OLED versions, which have a magnesium base, weigh under 1 kg. Notebookcheck weighed an OLED unit at 989 g and an IPS touchscreen unit, which has an aluminium base, at 1.14 kg; 14-inch rivals such as the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 and Dell Pro 14 Premium weigh about 1.2 to 1.3 kg. The lighter OLED unit ran about 10 hours less in its Wi-Fi battery test.

TrackPoint
The pointing stick lets you move the cursor with your hands close to the keyboard, useful for work that alternates between typing and selecting text.

Replaceable components
The battery, keyboard, SSD and USB modules are replaceable, giving you options to repair individual parts when they wear out or fail.
