16-inch mobile workstation

A 16-inch mobile workstation with 16-core 12th-gen Core HX processors and NVIDIA RTX A1000, A2000 or A3000 professional graphics, built with four memory slots and two SSD slots.

  • Core HX with RTX professional graphics

    The catalogued configurations use a 16-core, 24-thread Core i7-12800HX, i7-12850HX or i9-12900HX. Lenovo rates the RTX A1000 and RTX A2000 at 60 W and the RTX A3000 at 115 W in this chassis.

  • Four SO-DIMM and two M.2 slots

    Memory uses four DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, supporting up to 128 GB, with ECC support when ECC modules are fitted to an i7-12850HX system. Two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots hold up to 8 TB, with RAID 0/1 support.

  • Factory-calibrated displays

    Every display option is X-Rite factory colour calibrated. The 2560 × 1600 IPS panel has 400 nits and 100% sRGB coverage; the 3840 × 2400 IPS panel has 600 nits, 100% Adobe RGB coverage and DisplayHDR 400.

Graphics and ECC memory

  • RTX A3000 with Core i9-12900HXRated at 115 W, nearly twice the 60 W limit of the other options, with 12 GB of ECC graphics memory. Suits sustained GPU work such as long renders. The i9-12900HX does not support ECC system memory.
  • RTX A2000 with Core i7-12850HXRated at 60 W with 8 GB of graphics memory, twice the RTX A1000's. The i7-12850HX supports ECC system memory, so these configurations suit buyers who want ECC DIMMs or more graphics memory at the same power limit.
  • RTX A1000 with Core i7-12800HXRated at 60 W with 4 GB of graphics memory, and the processor does not support ECC memory. Suits work that leans on the 16-core processor rather than the GPU.
