Cooling works best raised
In Ultrabookreview’s test of a Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5080 unit in Performance mode, the GPU was held back by heat to an average of 130–150 W with the laptop flat on a desk. Raised on a stand, it sustained 160–170 W with clock speeds 10–15% higher, so a stand is worth using for long gaming sessions.

Memory and storage expansion
Memory uses two DDR5-6400 CSODIMM slots in dual channel, up to 64 GB. There are two M.2 2280 slots, one PCIe 5.0 x4 and one PCIe 4.0 x4; the catalogued versions ship with a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
