Overview

13-inch ultraportable laptop

The XPS 13 DX13260 configurations PGrid lists use the Intel Core 5 320 with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X, a 13.4-inch 2560×1600 touch display and a 52Wh battery.

  • 13.4-inch 2560×1600 touch display

The touch panel is rated at 500 nits, covers 100% of DCI-P3 and uses variable refresh from 30Hz to 120Hz, with an anti-glare finish.

  • Lighter than the MacBook Neo

CNET lists both Core 5 320 configurations it tested at 2.3 lb (1.1 kg), nearly half a pound lighter than the similarly priced 2.7 lb MacBook Neo. Dell lists the aluminium chassis at 12.75 mm thick, so it is one of the easier budget laptops to carry all day.

  • Single-channel memory on Core 5 models

With the Core 5 320, the LPDDR5X-7467 memory is single-channel and integrated on the system board, with 16GB as the maximum. Core Ultra models get dual-channel memory. The SSD is a single M.2 2230 drive.

8GB or 16GB, fixed at purchase

Both configurations use the same Core 5 320. Memory is integrated on the system board and cannot be added later, so the 8GB configuration stays at 8GB. The 16GB configuration is the maximum for Core 5 models.
