RAM Description
The Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit offers 64 GB across two 32 GB unbuffered DIMMs. At 6000 MHz with primary timings CL30-36-36-76 and 1.40V operating voltage, it runs tighter than typical DDR5-6000 kits that ship at CL36 or CL40. It suits desktop builders doing content creation, 3D rendering, or gaming who want a high-capacity, high-frequency kit without moving to quad-channel or workstation-class hardware. The RGB lighting is controllable through Corsair's iCUE software. Without XMP or EXPO enabled, the kit falls back to JEDEC defaults at DDR5-4800 CL40 at 1.1V.
Platform Notes
- Enable Intel XMP (or AMD EXPO for AM5 variants) in the BIOS to reach DDR5-6000 CL30 at 1.40V; otherwise the modules will run at DDR5-4800 CL40 at 1.1V.
