Overview

15.6-inch gaming laptop

The Cyborg 15 A12V is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop with a translucent black chassis and a 144 Hz Full HD display. The catalogued configuration has a Core i7-12650H, a GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with 8 GB, 8 GB of DDR5 and a 512 GB SSD.

  • Quiet but power-limited RTX 4060

MSI caps the RTX 4060 at 45 W including Dynamic Boost. In PC Gamer's tests that made it 13–22% slower than a laptop running the same GPU at 75 W, although it stayed quiet and cool under load.

  • Two memory slots

Two DDR5-4800 slots take up to 64 GB, so the catalogued 8 GB can be increased. There is one M.2 SSD slot, so more storage means replacing the existing drive.

  • Short battery life

The battery is 53.5 Wh, and in PC Gamer's testing it drained faster than any other laptop it had tested from the same generation.
