A compact 13-inch Surface for browsing, study and office work, built around the 8-core Snapdragon X Plus. Every listed configuration has a 3:2 touchscreen and removable UFS storage.

  • Long rated battery life

    Microsoft rates it at up to 23 hours of local video playback and 16 hours of active web use, tested on the 16 GB, 256 GB configuration.

  • Replaceable parts

    Microsoft lists replacement components including the battery, display, keyboard, touchpad, thermal module and removable flash storage.

  • Modest 60Hz display

    The 1920 × 1280 touchscreen has a 3:2 aspect ratio and anti-reflective coating, but tops out at 60Hz and 400 nits typical brightness.

Memory

Microsoft positions the 8 GB and 12 GB configurations for browsing and productivity. The 16 GB configurations handle heavier multitasking and are the only ones with Copilot+ PC experiences.
