Compact business laptop

A compact ThinkPad for carrying between meetings and working on the move. Its taller touchscreen and support for several external monitors also make it practical at a desk.

  • Easy to open and service

    Notebookcheck reports that the Gen 5 keeps the X13 Gen 4 design unchanged. In its Gen 4 review, the bottom cover came off after loosening five captive screws. The M.2 2280 SSD and WWAN card are modular, the screwed-in battery is easy to replace and the fan can be cleaned. The keyboard is not user-replaceable.

  • 16:10 touchscreen

    The 1920 × 1200 IPS touchscreen gives documents extra vertical space and covers the full sRGB colour range.

  • Multiple-monitor support

    It supports three external monitors alongside the built-in display, allowing a small laptop to drive a larger desk workspace.
