The Intel P16v Gen 3 provides NVIDIA professional graphics with replaceable RAM and two SSD slots. It is designed for workstation applications that need a discrete GPU and room for project data.
Two DDR5 slots allow RAM to expand beyond the initial configuration.
Separate drives can hold the system and project libraries.
An integrated card reader supports direct media transfers.
RTX PRO 1000 and RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell both have 8 GB of dedicated graphics memory. The 2000 therefore does not provide extra room for a workload that exceeds the 1000’s VRAM capacity.
Both M.2 2280 slots use PCIe 4.0 x4. A Gen 5 SSD can be installed, but operates through the Gen 4 interface; the higher drive label does not change the laptop’s slot bandwidth.
