Overview

16-inch gaming laptop

A 16-inch gaming laptop that PGrid lists with RTX 5050, RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics, each with 8 GB of GDDR7. The RTX 5050 and RTX 5070 versions use a Core Ultra 7 255H and a 240 Hz 2560 × 1600 display; the RTX 5060 version is a League of Legends edition with a Core i7-14650HX.

  • 240 Hz 2560 × 1600 panel on Core Ultra versions

The Core Ultra 7 255H versions use a 16-inch 2560 × 1600 IPS panel at up to 240 Hz with 500 nits and 100% sRGB. The i7-14650HX edition has a 1920 × 1200 IPS panel at up to 165 Hz and 400 nits.

  • Two SO-DIMM slots, 32 GB maximum

Memory sits in two accessible SO-DIMM slots with dual-channel support, but HP lists a 32 GB maximum. The 24 GB versions ship with one 24 GB module; the League of Legends edition has two 16 GB modules. All three SKUs list two M.2 SSD slots.

  • 83 Wh battery on Core Ultra versions

Both Core Ultra 7 255H SKUs carry the series' larger 6-cell 83 Wh battery.

Processor and display

  • Core Ultra 7 255H · RTX 5050 or RTX 5070Both use the 2560 × 1600 IPS panel at up to 240 Hz and 500 nits, one 24 GB memory module and the 83 Wh battery, and differ only in GPU. They suit players who want the sharper, faster panel.
  • Core i7-14650HX · RTX 5060The League of Legends edition pairs a 16-core, 24-thread HX processor with 32 GB in two modules, so memory runs in dual channel as shipped, and a 1920 × 1200 IPS panel at up to 165 Hz and 400 nits. It suits buyers who want that design and dual-channel memory more than the higher-resolution panel.
