Overview

14-inch Arm business laptop

A slim Windows on Arm business laptop for work between offices.

  • Quiet fan

Notebookcheck’s X1E-78-100 review unit ran its fan at about 25 dB(A) while browsing or streaming and stayed just below 35 dB(A) under demanding loads, noticeably quieter than the MacBook Pro 14 and ThinkPad X1 Carbon G12.

  • 5 MP infrared camera

The camera supports facial sign-in and includes a privacy shutter for covering it between calls.

  • Windows on Arm

Windows can emulate x86 and x64 applications, but peripheral drivers need Arm64 support. Check essential software and devices before choosing this platform.

Fixed memory

RAM is onboard and cannot be expanded. An X Elite processor can be paired with either 16 GB or 32 GB, so changing from X Plus to X Elite does not by itself establish the memory capacity.
